PPGI Coil Supplier in Russia — Color-Coated Steel Buying Guide
Pre-painted galvanized (PPGI) coils bring colour and durability to Russian roofing, cladding and sandwich panels. For producers, two properties protect their brand: colour consistency between coils and formability of the coating. This guide explains how Russian roofing and panel manufacturers evaluate PPGI suppliers — paint systems, RAL colours, substrate grades and the documentation that makes reorders match the original delivery.
Paint Systems
The paint system is selected by exposure and service life:

Film thickness is typically 20–30 µm depending on the system. Backside coating, protective film and anti-fingerprint options are available for premium applications.
RAL Colours and Substrate
PPGI is specified in the full RAL range. The most requested colours for Russian projects are RAL 3009, RAL 3011, RAL 5002, RAL 6005, RAL 7016 and RAL 8017. Substrate is DX51D+Z or DX52D+Z galvanized with Z120–Z275 coating, in thicknesses from 0.17 mm to 1.2 mm and widths up to 1,250 mm.
Colour Consistency and Batch Control
For roof and facade projects, ordering the complete colour requirement in one production lot avoids visible colour differences between panels installed side by side. A reliable supplier documents film thickness, T-bend values and colour per batch, and keeps batch colour records so reorders match the original delivery. Sample coils for colour approval before series production are standard practice — and a red flag if a supplier refuses them.
