Grades, Standards and Profiles

Roofing sheets are supplied to EN 10169/10346 and GOST 24045 for trapezoidal profiles (H57, H60, H75, H114, C8, C10, C20, C21), with substrate DX51D+Z in Z180-Z275 galvanized, AZ150-AZ185 Galvalume, or pre-painted finish. For Russian projects GOST 24045 is the governing standard, and we prepare certificates cross-referencing the profile and coating. Sheet thickness from 0.3 to 1.2 mm is available; for heavy snow load regions we recommend 0.5 mm and above in Z220+ coating or painted finish. Color options include all RAL shades in PE/SMP coating, and Galvalume sheets offer 2-4 times the service life of galvanized in atmospheric exposure. Accessories are matched to the profile for complete weathertight systems.

Manufacturing Process

Corrugated and trapezoidal roofing sheets are produced on high-speed roll-forming lines: galvanized or pre-painted coil is unwound, leveled, and progressively formed into the profile by a series of forming stands, then cut to length by a flying shear. Profile options include classic corrugated (C8, C10, C20, C21) and trapezoidal (H57, H60, H75, H114) sections, with sheet thicknesses from 0.3 to 1.2 mm and widths from 1.0 to 1.25 m. The forming process preserves the coating, and the finished sheet has a precise profile geometry with consistent wave height and pitch. Sheets are stacked and packed in bundles with protective packaging for transport. Accessories – ridge caps, flashings, end caps and fasteners – are formed on the same lines to matching profiles, ensuring a weathertight installation.

Applications

  • Industrial and agricultural roofing
  • Warehouse and logistics buildings
  • Fencing and wall cladding
  • Temporary and modular structures
  • Residential outbuildings

Applications in Russia and Central Asia

Profiled roofing sheet is the standard roofing material for industrial and agricultural buildings across the region. Warehouses, logistics centers, hangars and production halls use H57-H75 trapezoidal sheets with purlin spacing optimized for the profile’s load capacity. Agricultural buildings – livestock farms, granaries and machinery sheds – use economical corrugated galvanized sheets, which dominate the rural market. Fencing and wall cladding use C8 and light profiles. In residential construction, painted corrugated sheets in RAL colors cover garages, outbuildings and cottage roofs. The heavy H75 profile is specified for high-snow-load regions such as Siberia and the Urals, where roof loads are a decisive design factor. Galvalume sheets are preferred in rural areas for their longer service life without painting.

Quality Control and Testing

Every production stage at the Sino East Steel plant is controlled under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Depending on the product, each batch is tested for chemical composition and mechanical properties (yield strength, tensile strength, elongation), dimensional accuracy, surface quality and, where applicable, hydrostatic pressure, weld seam integrity, zinc coating thickness and paint adhesion. All testing is performed in our laboratory and, when the project requires, witnessed by independent inspectors from SGS, Bureau Veritas or TUV Rheinland. Each shipment is accompanied by a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) per EN 10204 3.1 with heat numbers, so every tonne can be traced back to its production date, heat and chemical analysis. This documentation is prepared in a form accepted by customs authorities in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Belarus, and can be adapted to GOST-based reporting when the buyer’s quality department requires it.

Documents and Compliance for Russia and the EAEU

All goods are supplied with a complete export documentation set prepared for smooth customs clearance in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union: Mill Test Certificate (MTC) per EN 10204 3.1 with heat numbers and chemical analysis, Certificate of Origin form ST-1 (which qualifies for duty-free import within the EAEU), commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or railway consignment note. Where the project is subject to the EAEU Technical Regulations, we support the EAC certification process and provide the technical passport, test reports and conformity documentation required by the importing party. For products supplied against Russian design standards we prepare documentation referencing the relevant GOST equivalents (for example GOST 3262 for galvanized pipe, GOST 8732 for seamless pipe, GOST 30245 for hollow sections), so your quality department and the customs broker receive everything on the day the vessel or train arrives.

Logistics to Russia and Central Asia

Sea freight from Tianjin and Xingang ports to St. Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Vladivostok and the Baltic ports takes 30-45 days, with container and break-bulk options for project volumes. For Central Asia we ship container rail trains via the Dostyk and Khorgos border crossings to Almaty, Astana, Tashkent, Samarkand, Bishkek, Osh, Dushanbe and Ashgabat in 25-40 days. We quote on FOB Tianjin/Xingang, CFR, CIF, or DAP terms to your warehouse, consolidate several product lines in one container to reduce the freight cost per tonne, and agree the shipment schedule with your project calendar. A Russian-speaking sales team follows your order from specification to customs clearance, prepares the transit documentation for rail corridors, and coordinates with your forwarding agent at the destination. For regular buyers we offer scheduled programs with fixed prices for the contract period, protecting your project budget from market volatility.

Packaging and Loading

Sheets are packed in flat bundles on wooden pallets with steel strapping and protective wrapping, labeled with the profile, thickness, coating, color and sheet count. Bundles are loaded into containers or flat racks with dunnage; long sheets (up to 12 m) ship on flat racks or open-top containers. Accessories are packed in cartons or bundles matched to the profile. The documentation includes the MTC per EN 10204 3.1, ST-1 certificate, invoice and packing list, with profile geometry data sheets for the buyer’s engineering department.

The Roofing Market in Russia and Central Asia

The profiled sheet market in Russia is one of the largest in the world, driven by the constant construction of warehouses, industrial buildings and agricultural facilities. Federal logistics programs and the boom in e-commerce distribution centers consume millions of square meters of trapezoidal sheet annually. Agricultural construction across Kazakhstan and Central Asia uses corrugated galvanized sheet in large volumes. The residential segment adds painted profiles in popular RAL colors. Because profile production is a local industry in many regions, importers focus on the coating substrate (galvanized/Galvalume coil) as well as finished sheets for projects with specific profiles and lengths. Sino East Steel supplies both finished sheets and coil to roofing distributors and construction companies across the EAEU.

How to Choose the Right Roofing Sheet

Select the profile by the roof span and snow load: C8-C21 for light structures and walls, H57-H60 for standard industrial roofs, H75+ for long spans and high snow loads. Choose the material by service life: galvanized Z180-Z275 for general use, Galvalume for 2-4x longer life without painting, and pre-painted for aesthetics and corrosion resistance in one product. Confirm the sheet thickness – 0.4-0.5 mm for standard roofing, 0.5 mm+ for heavy loads. Order accessories (ridges, flashings, fasteners) from the same supplier to ensure profile matching and a weathertight roof. For Russian projects confirm compliance with GOST 24045 and the certificate format with your design institute.

Why Buy Roofing Sheets Direct from the Factory

Sino East Steel produces the substrate coil and forms the profiles in-house, controlling both the coating and the profile geometry from one plant. Direct purchase removes trading margins, and we consolidate sheets, accessories and coil in one shipment to reduce freight cost. The documentation – MTC per EN 10204 3.1 with GOST 24045 cross-reference, ST-1 certificate – is prepared for EAEU customs clearance, and our team supports project buyers with profile geometry data and load tables for their design documentation.
