Large diameters (406.4-1,220 mm) are produced by SSAW (spiral submerged arc welding) or LSAW (longitudinal submerged arc welding) with double-sided welds. Seamless pipe in Grade B through X70 is sourced from our partner seamless mills under the same quality control and documentation system. Every pipe is straightening, end-faced or bevelled, and where the project requires, impact tested at -20 C or -40 C to meet PSL2 requirements for cold-climate service.
